Summer 1
Science
In Year 3, we are learning about plants. We have become scientists and are investigating the following: Does the number of seeds in one pot affect growth? We have planned and carried out a fair test. We know to only change one thing and that is the number of seeds in the pot. In one pot we planted one seed, in another two seeds, in a third pot we planted four seeds and in the final pot, eight seeds. We all made a prediction as to what we think will happen and why. We have placed our peas by the window to ensure they get enough sunlight and we will watch them grow and find out the answer to our enquiry question!

Path to Paris
To celebrate the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024, we are getting active and embarking on a virtual journey, with Path to Paris. We are being as active as we can throughout the day and logging this to go on a virtual journey around the world! Please keep an eye out for some of our photos...
History
In History, we have been learning how the Victorian period helped to shape Lancashire today. This week, we created a timeline for Burnley - it ranged from 1200 to 1901 when Queen Victoria died. We know lots of facts and key events in Burnley's history.
PE
In P.E., we followed a trail around the playground in groups. We worked together to find the control sites and answer Maths questions. We used self-discipline to follow rules and had to communicate as a team.
