Extra Curricular Clubs
We have lots of extra-curricular clubs and activities for all our children to participate in. These are either after school or at lunch times. We feel these clubs add to the enrichment opportunities for all our children.
At the end of each term, a Club list will be sent out through the school app showing which clubs will run the following term. Children can then choose which clubs to participate in. Our clubs are always over-subscribed so we often have to share out participation.
Some clubs lead onto participation with other schools, such as the Choir take part in the 'Lets Go Sing Concert' at King George's Hall.
Young Leaders and play leaders encourage children to participate and be active at lunchtimes by various organised events and games in the thrill zone on the yard.
The School Council meet termly to assist with the clubs in the school, and help Mrs Dugdale and the Governors make important decisions.
St. James’ Lanehead is a very busy and active school. So look out for your club list and get involved in all the wonderful learning experiences.
