Curriculum Enhancements

Class Worship

This half term we delivered our class worship at St James Church. We taught everybody all about forgiveness and spreading love to others. The children sang their hearts out! We are all so proud of their singing, dancing, acting and reading. Everybody left church full of joy and ready to spread the important message to those around them.

Mad Science Workshop

We have had a wonderful morning in our Mad Science workshops. We carried out different investigations linked to the two different topics.

Mission Nutrition

In our first workshop, we learnt all about nutrition and the different food groups. We found out about digestion and a balanced diet. We saw a tube that was as long as a small intestine in an adult. We could not believe how long it was!

Magnetic Magic

Magnetic Magic In our second workshop, we observed how magnets attract and repel. We carried out some magic tricks, making paperclips magnetic! We made our paperclips into a temporary magnet and learnt about how this happened. We then got three magnets and had to figure out how to make them bounce!
