Autumn 1

We have been exploring all about Autumn. We have been on an autumn walk to find different signs of autumn. We have also been creative: making leaf prints, leaf rubbings, painting a tree using autumn colours and doing observational drawings of pumpkins.

We learned all about the different parts of our body and how to draw bodies. We noticed that our arms and legs don't come out of our head, they come out of our body. We can now draw people carefully withe their arms and legs coming out of the body.

We learned about the story 'The Little Red Hen' linked to Harvest, and we made our own bread. We loved kneading the dough and eating it. We all helped to make it, so we all shared it together.

We met our Gardeners who will help guide us through our first year at school. We had lots of fun together.
