We have planted a tree in remembrance of those who lost their lives in WW1. The Head and Deputy Boys and Girls completed this on behalf of the school and found it fun as it involved them working together as a confident team.
The children said ” It was challenging because when you tried to dig the shovel into the soil; it had lots of rocks in it so we had to use our strength. This shall be a memory for the whole school and every time we see it we will remember those who sacrificed their loves for the world we see today. It also feels special because if my children go here that tree would still be here as it lives for for between 200-1000 years!”
