Every Parent’s Evening we host the scholastic book fair in the school hall. This has been a huge success as parents/carers can reward their children for their good progress and for every book bought from the fair, the school receive a percentage in rewards.
These rewards are added to the school’s account as a credit to be redeemed when purchasing books. We recently utilised the funds from the October Book Fair to buy all of the books below for school!
Mrs Gregory will be ordering even more books after the March 2020 Parent’s Evening and using all of those rewards to create Author Boxes for the children to enjoy.
When the book fair arrives on the 18th March, the children will get chance to have a look at the books available during the school day and will bring home a ‘wish list’. This is to ensure that, even if you can’t purchase a book at the parent’s evening, you know which book your child would like and can send in the money for the book on your child’s wish list for it to be ordered this way. Also, if we run out of stock of a book at the fair, we can call Scholastic and have that book ordered into school so you don’t have to worry about trying to find the book elsewhere, we will bring the book to you!
Thank you to all the parents/carers that bought books from the October fair, the photo below would not be possible without you!
