The coronavirus restrictions didn’t stop us from remembering the fallen. Though we couldn’t meet to remember them together as we would usually, each class have been learning about the meaning behind the poppy and have reflected on the sacrifices made by fallen soldiers and animals. The children have worked very hard on their own remembrance displays and these have then been made into the school display pictured.
One of our Year 2 pupils wrote a message: “Dear soldiers, I am so sorry you had to go through all of that. We thank you for our safety and we love you.”
