We would like this opportunity to congratulate our Key Stage 2 Senior Leader and Year 6 teacher, Mrs Moses, on her 30th year of teaching. We know she only looks 21… but we needed to celebrate this fantastic milestone! Mrs Moses, who lives in Bury, started her teaching career as Miss Stonehewer at Ightenhill Primary School in Burnley. She then moved to St Thomas’ Barrowford as the Deputy Headteacher but her heart was with the
children of Burnley, despite living in Bury. She joined our team as a Senior Leader in September 2013. Mrs Moses’ main passion is Mathematics ( as all the children know!) and she leads the school in this area. Mrs Moses’ other passion is craft work and she enjoys sewing and knitting, she has taught many of our pupils and staff how to knit in her ‘knit and natter club’. Mrs Moses’ is an asset to the St James’ Family and we feel very lucky to have her here with us. Here she is in her mask receiving her beautiful flowers.
